A man used a flamethrower and Molotov cocktails to set people on fire Sunday at a Jewish community event in Boulder, Colorado to support hostages in Gaza. He injured at least eight people ranging in age from 52 to 88 before being detained.• The FBI identified the lone suspect as Mohamed Sabry Soliman and said he yelled “Free Palestine!” during the attack. He is facing multiple felony charges.• Soliman had applied for asylum in the US and was denied a visa to enter the country in 2005, sources told CNN. White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller said Soliman had “illegally overstayed” a tourist visa.• Jewish leaders called for action against attacks on their community in the wake of rising antisemitic violence and threats. Less than two weeks ago, two Israeli Embassy staff members were shot dead in Washington, DC, by an attacker who yelled “Free Palestine!” while being arrested.
