The Hague, Jul 9 (efe-epa).- No explosives were found aboard an airliner at Eindhoven airport that was evacuated after a bomb threat, Dutch military police said Monday.
The Ryanair flight was preparing to take off for Edinburgh, Scotland, when an threatening note was found inside the aircraft.
The plane returned to the terminal and the passengers removed before military police with bomb-sniffing dogs spent nearly an hour searching the jet.
All departures from Eindhoven were halted while police examined the Ryanair plane, forcing passengers aboard other flights to spend up to two hours waiting on the runway.
The emergency also caused three incoming flights to be diverted to other cities, Eindhoven airport administrators said.
